Conservationists, hunters and villagers came out in Anchorage Tuesday night to denounce the state-financed Ambler Road proposal.
BLM, the Army Corps of Engineers and HDR, the company contracted to develop the EIS, sat at the front of the room and did not answer questions during testimony. Gates of the Arctic National Park Superintendent Greg Dudgeon was also there, but for some reason he did not take his seat at the table.
